Parenting after family violence
This 7 session program gives you a chance to think about parenting after family violence and how you can provide children with the experiences you want for them as they grow up.
The Bringing Up great Kids Parenting After Family Violence program supports you as a parent/carer to:
- Understand how family violence affects your relationship with your children
- Learn how parenting is affected by family violence, and how to overcome these impacts in order to feel more confident in your parenting
- Understand the meaning behind behaviour, and how to respond to your children’s underlying feelings and needs
- Learn about your own parenting wisdon, strength and courage.
