Firstchance proudly offers the PaL (Parents and Learning) Program. Delivered by Aboriginal people for Aboriginal families in Karuah, Raymond Terrace and Toronto, aiming to support children aged 2–5 in a culturally connected, fun learning environment.
Key aspects of PaL include:
- Developing early literacy and numeracy skills
through play - Celebrating Aboriginal culture and identity
- Sharing practical tips for at-home learning
- Building confidence in children for preschool
and school readiness - Fostering family connections and mutual
support
The program is free, family-led, and rooted in the strengths and knowledge of the families involved.
